I am just about bald. I am on blood pressure and thyroid medication for oven several years. Every five weeks over a three year period I have received steroid shoots to my scalp, still my hair is melting away. All the doctors I have visited suggest steroid shoots. HELP !!!!
There are many causes for balding. There are many other diagnosis that must be considered tnat could be indicative of a more serious problem. For example, for diffuse hair loss must rule out the diagnosis of Diffuse Alopecia Areata, not uncommon in women. If your hair is really being lost all over, you might need a biopsy performed looking for a process responsible for the hair loss. Do not play doctor yourself.

it has been over 4years that i have lost my hair, I lost my mother in 98, she to lost her hair, in our family our hair get’s thin right in the middle.well my hair is total gone, yes i need help, the only thing is i am total poor, i have been wearing wig’s. i would like to see if i can get a couple of wishes, hair and weight and my front teeth that i lost, because my capps fell out. i do need a extrem makeover.

I HAVE BEEN LOSING HAIR SINCE 1996, NOW I HAVE VERY THIN HAIR, U CAN EVEN SEE MY SCALP(HEAD). I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE, I WENT TO A DOCTOR I GOT ALL TEST, NOTHING WAS WRONG THE ONLY THING I NEEDED WAS ZINC, AND WAS LOW ON VITAMIN D. I TAKIN ALL THOSE PILLS, BUT I REALLY IN BAD SHAPE W/ LOW SELF ESTEEM, CAN YOU HELP ME??
VERY SAD, FOR MYSELF IT REALLY HURTS ME, I CANT DO NOTHING THAT I LIKE TO DO, NOT EVEN SWIMMING.
