My doctor said Rudolphs hair loss was caused by ringworm. Is this possible?

WHEN I WAS A CHILD I HAD RINGWORM ON MY SCALP AND IT WAS NEVER TREATED, SO I HAVE THESE BOLD SPOTS IN DIFFER PLACES ON MY SCALP..IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO REGROW MY HAIR BACK
