I am 38, male and have been pretty much bald on top for several years. I have been using rogaine for a couple of months now and I have a lot of fine hair that is growing. I was wondering if taking a vitamin/supplement like Hair 37 might be advantagous? Do you advise another type of vitamine? Any other advise you might have would be appreciated.

I believe that you may have some benefit on Rogaine/minoxidil. I do not know much about this Hair Formula 37, though. After looking at their site to find info, it seems that there are many minerals and vitamins in this formula which may be beneficial for hair growth for a patient (for example) who has a gastric/intestinal absorptional problem leading to malnutrition. Malnutrition can produce a deficiency of many minerals and vitamins needed for hair growth. If you are like most people who eat regular food or even junk food, I doubt that you have any malnutrition problems, so I would not assume that a supplement-like formulae discussed here will be beneficial to you, that is, enough to produce more hair. However, if you think this hair formula could work for you, then by all means try it.

Propecia is a well known medication with a great deal of medical data proving it’s efficacy for hair growth and statistically it works better than Rogaine.
