Hello, i know that finasteride avoids the productions of dht by methods i cant explain with my bad english. The fact is that the DHT is needed for the erectile functions of the penis. How can i think that sex/masturbation dont make the body to produce more DHT to have reserves?
If that logic holds true, then all the bald men of the world must be sex addicts or rampant masturbators. Please excuse my humor, but your assumptions are erroneous. Increased DHT does not lead to erectile dysfunction. And increased sex or masturbation does not cause hair loss. Have fun!

What a stupid thing to say. Just because excessive masturbation/sex may play a role in hair loss doesn’t mean other factors (like diet, genetics etc.) aren’t also involved.
As far as I know, ejaculation (not sex/masturbation itself) does trigger testosterone-DHT conversion and DHT is the hormone responsible for androgenic alopecia. Again, other factors like diet, stress, age, genetic sensitivity to DHT etc. are also involved.
I was wrong, masturbation/sex itself does trigger testosterone-DHT conversion in the penile tissue but, as far as I know (I could be dead wrong, wishful thinking, maybe) this DHT is produced locally and ‘trapped’ in the penile tissue. When men and women orgasm, however, prolactin is released into their bloodstream and prolactin stimulates the production of the enzymbe 5 alpha reductace, the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT.
