I had my first HT 12/18/06. I can’t tell how well the HT was performed (Dr. used 600 mini and 680 multi grafts + ? singles for hairline), but I’m highly disappointed with the group’s PostOp accessibility.
I’ve seen a lot of ’shock loss’ to my native hair (frontal) since then, but I’m encouraged by the stubble that I know will disappear and hopefully come back later. (Just wished I would have read your advice on taking propecia 2-weeks prior to HT)
Now, I’m scheduled for hernia surgery in Jan 07. Could this surgery, so close to the HT procedure, in anyway jeopardize the transplanted hairs or worsen the current hair shock I’m experiencing?
Be sure that you are now on Propecia. I suspect that with this drug and the loss of the hair that you had, you have probably had the worst of it all. Good luck.
