can family members donate their hair follicular for patients who want to have a transplant?
No, hair from one person can not be moved to another person unless they are identical twins. A hair transplant from another person would be like a heart, liver, or kidney transplant and without powerful medications, these organs will be rejected by the body.

Well actually, it may be possible for family members to do that because some of them can share organs..
Emeel - When you transplant an organ from a family member to another family member, it requires anti-rejection medication. Hair transplantation isn’t a lifesaving procedure, and these anti-rejection medications create a whole other set of side effects. The risk isn’t worth the reward.
but…. it is possible to do the transplant with the use of anti- rejection agents. how long in theory would you have to take that medication before the hair would be accepted
