Hi Dr. Rassman! My 7 year old has diffuse thinning hair. Her hair shed quite a lot everyday but not much regrowth of new hair. What could be the cause? Is there a internal problem/disease? What tests can we request to determine the cause? Do you think it’s treatable? Thanks!
I can not ascertain her diagnosis without seeing her myself. You need to take her to her pediatrician and ask that question. Sorry.
