I recently, was diagnosed with herpes, not sure if its 1 or 2. I heard this medication can reduce symptoms pretty well…Valaciclovir, do you know if this medication can cause hair loss?
There are various unconfirmed reports from people that have taken Valtrex, which suggest that there is some hair loss in some people that take the antiviral medication. I do not know the answer to your question, though… I just have what I read. I haven’t seen anything officially linking Valaciclovir (or Valacyclovir) and hair loss.
