Hello,
What do you think of Revivogen and this recent study, comparing it to Finasteride and Dutasteride: study (PDF File)
The science looks interesting, but it is not clear from this study that there will be actual hair growth. If you want a known DHT blocker, finasteride is safe and proven to work. Nonetheless, I appreciate the link and thanks for sending.

I used Revivogen for about 4-6 months a few years ago. I didn’t see any real results, but to be fair I didn’t give it a whole lot of time either. I liked the shampoo a lot; it smelled great and gave plenty of volume. The actual topical ointment was a pain to apply. It was runny and you had to wash your hands right after or else risk burning the hell out of your eyes should you rub them later.
I’ve posted here a few times regarding my success with minoxodil and finasteride. For a year and a half I’ve been taking 1 mg Proscar each morning and applying some 6% minoxodil formula each night. It’s worked better than I ever imagined. Both my hairline and crown have filled in to such an extent that a friend asked me if I had a hair transplant.
I am 36 and have very extensive thinning. Entire top of my haid is pretty much covered in minaturized hairs giving appearance of being pretty much bald.
Have used Minoxidil in the past with some regrowth (thickening) on the crown.
I have been using Revivogen with minoxidil for the last couple of months. Minoxidil in the morning then again early in the evening, with Revivogen later at night if time permits. I have definitely seen more thickening of hairs by using this combination, and it has only been a couple of months. I am confident that Revivogen has a positive effect on thickening of minaturized hairs. They are there, but are lacking in pigment. Hoping continued use will assist in pigment returning.
Just picked up propecia today. I am living in China and luckily it is dirt cheap here. Let’s see how this combination goes!
