Hey,
I just wanted your readers to know of a change ive had to my scalp. Alot of people have itchy and flaky scalps coming with hair loss. I had this too, and I thought both were linked together because they came at the same time. Well I was wrong but I did manage to fix my itching by taking desloratadine 5mg. Apparently my itching came from an allergy and it fixed the problem completely. So for all your readers having itchy scalps they should check they might be allergic! Thanks alot for the site
Desloratadine is a drug that is used to treat hay fever and allergy symptoms. When one uses a medication for symptomatic relief, it does not get down to what you are allergic to and will only be a temporary solution until you solve the cause of the itch.

Interesting blog, yes its VERY annoying when you have a scalp irritation problem that wont go away no matter what you seem to do. Alot of time time its because we are taught to apply the “bandaid” approach by treating the symptoms and not the cause. It can be caused by factors from toxic or irritating shampoo ingredients to a once dormant but now apparent hair dye senstivity that starts the incessant itching. Luckily this can easily be remedied by getting to the bottom of understanding the cause, preventing further damage then repairing the damage thats aleady been done to your scalp. Start by using a shampoo that doesn’t contain harsh cleansers or foaming agents (like you will find in 90% of shampoos these days), and by using natural remedies to soothe and heal follicles and inflamed skin cells causing itchy scalp. Lavender is one example of a healing antibacterial soothing anti-inflammatory oil that can be used. Chamomile is another one. You can find more at http://www.dryitchyscalpremedies.com
