Dear Sir,
I am suffering from a very severe hair loss. I have heard that snake oil could be of help. This is commercially available here in Turkey- Yilan Yagi. However, before starting such a treatment I wanted to receive also your expert advice.

Why do I want to believe that this is a parody? The fact that they call the product “Snake Oil” just makes me smile.
Unfortunately, I don’t read Turkish and I do not know what is in your ’snake oil’… so I can not give you advice accordingly. The suggestion on the website (based solely on the photos) is that a bald man can get a full head of hair with this substance. That would make me not believe it, but I can not read the reports. I can’t find Turkish to English translators online that are of any help with this, either. To any Turkish readers out there — I could use a hand.

I got it from here http://www.yilanyagi.gen.tr/
I saw this question on the blog
http://www.baldingblog.com/2008/07/01/actual-snake-oil-for-treating-hair-loss/
I thought I could help with translation of it, I felt kind of responsible as I am a regular reader of the blog and interested in MPB.
As you can see there is nothing worth reading, no scientific data, just full of crap and poorly written. Based on what I understood it works like the way minoxidil does on males.
I am not a translator but I am a native Turkish speaker and my second language is English. I did my best when I was translating this commercial. Here is the translation.
“PROVEN SOLUTION FOR HAIR LOSS!
It does strengthen the weak and thin hair, helping hair to grow fast and quick. It re-grows hair if you do not have hereditary hair loss, It was observed that it first regrows thin hair on bald areas and over time it promotes hair re-growth If you have hereditary hair loss. It will definitely stop shedding of your existing hair. It can be used by both men and woman comfortably.”
Thanks, Serkan. I appreciate your help.
