HiFirstly, thank you for a fantasic site.
My question relates to taking finasteride whilst also taking Xalatan drops for pressure on the eyes. I have recently been diagnosed as having glaucoma and was wondering if my taking of finasteride could have contributed to my diagnosis or in any way effected the pressure on my eyes.

This is not a known side effect of Propecia. It is very unlikely that Propecia caused or contributed to your development of glaucoma. Check with your opthamologist.

I had a similar experience using Finasteride while taking Xalatan to reduce the pressure of my eye (IOP). My eye pressure increased during the time I took Finasteride.
I have consulted with an Opthamologist who specializes in Glaucoma, a Dermatologist, as well as my personal physicain about this and none of them seem to know about a correlation. A literature search does not show any results either
Have you found out anything new about this?.
I would be interested to hear from any others who have has similar experiences.
