I have seen that you have a comment about flutagel, but what about oral flutamid in the battle against hairloss? Could you expect flutamid tabl. to have the same effect as flutagel?

FlutamideFlutamide (known in gel form as Flutagel) is an antiandrogen, meaning it blocks testosterone. The use in men makes no sense to me unless you are treating prostate cancer, but in women who have lost estrogen support for hair there may be marginal value in its use. It is used in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) as one of the less standard antiandrogens treatments.

Flutamide in its oral pill form can cause severe side effects, like diarrhea, nausea, loss of appetite, impotence (and all the other sexual side effects you can imagine). Plus, there’s been rare problems (though sometimes fatal) with the liver. It is not recommended for treating MPB.
