Here’s an out-of-the-box question. If hair cloning ever becomes a viable procedure, once the hairs are implanted in the head, if it’s the same hair that’s cloned, won’t they all fall out at the same time? So we’d have a full head of hair for a period of time and then be bald for a period of time.
You have some interesting ideas. Your theory may be correct, but theory and reality do not always correlate. We will just have to wait and see. I suppose it is possible that you will need to have many different hairs cloned if your theory holds true.

no, not all the hairs would be cloned from the exact same follicle, the surgeons could just select a variety so the cloned hairs are in different stages
