There’s nothing groundbreaking mentioned in the article, but it does provide a short list of celebrities with hairline issues. The term “power alleys” is a fun way to describe hair loss in the corners of the hairline, otherwise known as a Norwood Class 3 pattern. Plus, my colleague Dr. Robert Bernstein is quoted briefly in it.

Rather than put up articles about silly celebrity subjects why don’t you try and provide a little more information about new research. Or possibly use your expertise and influence in the hair loss industry to get biotech and drug companies to get new therapies to market faster.
This article makes me feel bad…If Gavin Rossdale’s hair is being critized, then there is no hope for me…

I don’t have insider information that I can share and I’m not the type to encourage readers to experiment on themselves with unproven drug treatments. I don’t think the companies are waiting on someone like me to rush them to market — they know there is money to be made, but safety and effectiveness are things they need to contend with.
In the meantime, posts like this are meant to add a little bit more to the site than just questions about Propecia or “X drug is causing me to lose hair”.
Dr Rassmann I never said that people should experiment on themselves. I just think that companies would welcome input from people like yourself and Dr. Bernstein and other experts of the hair restoration community. Regards - M
